I could not be happier than to be back speaking to you all. What a pleasure to get to catch up with all of you that I met last year and to meet those who are new to the shared lives program. Thank you so much for having me back to speak about my writing and about Lyme disease.
I snuck onto the beach this evening when it was nice and quiet. The sound of the waves washing thoughts in and out of focus in my mind. It was the perfect spot to sit and work.
Thank you so much for inviting me to read from Finding Joy and to chat to you all about Lyme disease. What fasinating questions…you hd my mind working to reccall all my research in order to answer them.
I had so much fun this morning with felllow authors in Fortorse for this book event. Spoke to so many interresting people and I event had this little guy come to say hello!
What a wonderful way to get back into the swing of things after the Christmas break! Thanks so much for having me over to read from Finding Joy and to speak about Lyme disease. It was a pleasure to meet you all. What a laugh we had together. Now…I’m off to Perth!
We are all at risk of catching Lyme disease but some occupations and hobbies put you at a higher risk. So being asked to write an article for the Scottish Gamekeepers is particularly meaningful to me and I hope my words will resonate with those reading and hopefull raise the profile of Lyme disease withing the gamekeeping community.
I’ve been just bouncing with excitement for this event. I’m so so pleased to have been asked to speak at Ness BookFest. This completely free event is the epitome of what literature should be about…and I’m so proud to be apart of it.
I’m so excited for this event! Nairn is a special place to me so to get to do another evetn here just makes it all the more special.
I am almost giddy with excitment…not only do I get to give a talk to the students about Lyme disease but I get to teach a creative writing workshop afterward! I just adore teaching creative writing and I couldn’t have asked for a better group to teach. Have a read of what the teachers and students thought here.
I’ve had such a magical time here. It’s been such a pleaure to speak to you all. It was a really remarkable day in which some very brave people opened up about thier Lyme stories and shared then with us all. I’m so delighted that Finding Joy has found a home in all you’re hearts like she had in mine.
